Batman Park Kindergarten is a well established centre and
has operated for over 50 years. We offer both three year old
and four year old sessions. We aim to provide a nurturing and
stimulating environment that provides children and parents
with a positive first experience of education.
In 2010 the Kindergarten was able to offer additional sessions
by extending into the adjacent hall. By responding to the
increased demand for kindergarten places in Darebin, we
were able to welcome 45 more families into the Batman Park
Kindergarten community across both an extra 4 year-old and
3 year-old session. As a double unit/two-room kindergarten
we continue to offer sessions for both levels in 2011.
The kindergarten is managed by parents in an elected
Committee of Management. It is ideally located within the local
community park and is easily accessible by tram, bus and
