We are a woodturning group catering for all ages, male or female and all ability levels. Our experienced members are happy to guide newer and inexperienced members. Members interests include producing both practical and artistic pieces from many different species of wood.
We meet in the Kingsbury Scout Hall, Browning St Kingsbury. Our venue has a number of woodlathes and associated equipment, and a separate kitchen area to prepare morning tea etc.
Our general meeting is held on the third Saturday of the month at 9am and includes a 'show and tell' on a particular theme, a demonstration of a new technique or a guest speaker.
Practical sessions are held on Wednesday mornings from 8.30am to 12 noon and Tuesday evenings 7pm to 10pm.
We also enjoy social activities with other woodturning clubs.
Visitors are welcome. If interested please contact our Secretary below or come to one of the sessions.
