The Wardi Relief & Development Initiatives' mission is strengthening local initiatives fostering self-reliance, tolerance and co-existence among Somali community through peace building initiatives, eradication of hunger and poverty, prevention of HIV/AIDS, country-reconstruction and environmental protection.
Wardi Relief & Development Initiatives will administer an integrated or multi-sectoral approach to meet the needs of the target population.
The program includes the following:
1) Food Security 2) Water & Sanitation 3) Primary education 4) Vocational training 5) Primary health care (PHC), Awareness campaign against HIV Aids and Malaria 6) Emergency relief 7) Conflict resolution 8) Capacity building |  |
The needs in Somalia are constant and far beyond what Wardi Relief & Development Initiatives alone can meet, and we are always seeking further support to reach more households with education and livelihood support and internal displace people. We rely on the support of individuals, private foundations, and donor governments to ensure that our mission and programs will continue to provide help to communities suffering from the devastating consequences of war, hunger, poverty and natural disasters.
