Music and Speech Therapy - A combined approach to learning language

Music, Rhyme, Talking Time is a group therapy program aimed at all pre-school aged children who are having difficulty using and understanding language.

Language learning is fostered through parent-child interactions with the help of
-rhymes and music
-reading aloud and story-telling
-physical, exploratory, symbolic, imaginative and pretend play
-turn-taking games
-social interaction
-keyword sign language
-pictures

What to Expect

Sessions run for 45 minutes. Each session involves discussion with parents, structured group time and parent-child focussed activities.

Many of the structured activities involve music and rhyme to help engage children and facilitate language learning.
