Steve Duke (President of the SHSoc of Vic.) has written an article on what the creator of Sherlock Holmes did when he got to Melbourne in 1920. The article was published in the Journal of the NSW Sherlockian group, The Sydney Passengers, called "The Passengers' Log". If you have no access to that publication you can contact us by email. We can also talk about Doyle's other works without mentioning ACD's bugbear, the Master Detective. ACD also wrote "The Lost World" which was recently filmed as "Jurassic Park". So there is a lot more to Doyle than just Sherlock Holmes, writing,Australia,RMS Titanic,Divorce law reform,The Olympics, fairies at the bottom of the garden and science! |
